Shuttercraft wins BFA business transformation award

Shuttercraft has been named the winner of the prize for Franchisor Business Transformation at the BFA-HSBC Franchise Awards.

The annual ceremony, which is organised by the British Franchise Association (BFA) in association with HSBC, shines a light on the franchises upholding the highest standards in ethical trading. It serves a useful purpose to prospective investors trying to identify the best franchise investment opportunities, so winning an award is a significant achievement.

Shuttercraft’s win comes after it announced major investment into its model and conducted a thorough review of the resources delivered to franchisees. The business’s Franchise Manager Lisa Stead explained,

“The team has worked so hard over the last two years, pushing boundaries, stepping out of their comfort zones and striving for change in order to provide the very best service to and for our network.

“Winning the Business Transformation award, amongst such fantastic competition, has been a massive recognition of the team’s dedication to the development of the franchise.”

Andy Brattesani, UK Head of Franchising at HSBC, added:

“Shuttercraft impressed the judges with its heightened focus on bespoke technology, an increase in marketing, a larger head office and more opportunities to engage as a network.”

Clearly, Shuttercraft’s dedication to business development has not gone unnoticed, as it can now benefit from being a 2020 BFA-HSBC Franchise Awards winner.

The BFA’s CEO, Pip Wilkins, was quick to praise the management franchise’s hard work:

“The transformation of this business sits in its franchise type, with a clear shift from an operator van franchise to a managerial franchise model. Formerly, it was very difficult for franchisees to successfully scale up the business.

“Since the new model was launched, 12 new franchisees have joined the network and feedback shows that the change has transformed the business.”
