Right At Home Solent has been nominated for a customer engagement award by the British Franchise Association.
The quality of care provided by the Right At Home Solent branch is set to be recognised at the country’s leading franchise awards later this summer. The Solent franchise team, which covers Southampton, Fareham, Gosport and New Forest East, offers services in companionship and personal care to the local community.
Right At Home is a care franchise that was brought to the UK in 2010 by franchisee Ken Dreary. Starting off in Preston, Right At Home now offers a service that is available in several locations across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Solent team is headed by husband and wife, Kev and Amy Popat, who opened the franchise back in June 2015. Since then, they have built Right At Home Solent into a care provider with a reputation in the local community for offering a helping hand for those in need. This is not the first time that the franchise has been on the receiving end of official acclaim. Back in September 2018, Right At Home Solent achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.
Kev and Amy reflected: “We are delighted and humbled to be shortlisted for this award. As a team we have faced many challenges, but through sheer determination and hard work [we] have managed to come out of the other side much stronger. We are very proud to be able to offer a service that is rated as “Outstanding” by our regulatory body the CQC, putting us in the top two percent of care companies nationally. We are extremely proud of our amazing office and CareGiving team – this one is for them!”.
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the BFA, was eager to praise the team’s achievements: “Although young in years, Amy and Kev are very experienced in franchising and work incredibly hard with the CareGivers at Right At Home to ensure those receiving care get the best attention”.
