Revive! employee turns franchisee

A Revive! employee has gone into business with his fiancé after six years with the franchise.
Paul Morris first met his partner when he repaired her car bumper eight years ago. Two years later, he got a job at car franchise Revive! and now they’re planning their 2022 wedding and going into business together.
Having purchased Revive!’s Birmingham North franchise location through a resale agreement, Paul intends to cover the day-to-day operations while his partner Leanne handles the finances and marketing. They both grew up in the area, so know the region well.
Paul said,
“As I was already working as a Revive! technician, I had a good understanding of how the business works. We like the knowledge and integrity the company adheres to, along with the constant improvements to keep up with the evolving industry.
Cathryn Hayes, Revive!’s Franchise Director, commented on the resale process:
“Paul had already been identified as one of our top technicians, so to have a new owner with such experience and long serving commitment to the Revive!’s vision and values couldn’t be better!
“Paul and Leanne impressed us right from the beginning of this process with their complementary business skills and shared desire to grow Revive! Birmingham North into a much bigger business.”
Despite making plans in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, the pair were able to complete the franchise resale without any major issues. Paul explained it was all down to “the power of technology”:
“Having interviews with the directors over Zoom was great, as it meant we were still able to ‘meet’ the team and go through the process smoothly.”
The couple have already established a three-van fleet and have plans to add a fourth vehicle to their business when they’ve recruited an extra technician. In fact, they would like to introduce a further two new vans in the next two years. Leanne said,
“We want to expand the service to reach every corner of our territory. The business has so much potential for growth, our aim is to get our name and reputation known across the area.”
Revive! Auto Innovations
Operating in the rapidly growing SMART repair industry, Revive! franchisees run large territories and manage their own team of technicians who repair damage to car paintwork including bumper scuffs, minor chips and the refurbishment of alloy wheels.
