Recognition Express is awarding a brand-new set of free football kits to the winner of its annual Unsung Heroes competition.
The Beaconsfield-based franchise unit is encouraging under-16s football teams across Buckinghamshire to nominate their ‘unsung heroes’. Andy Lian, Recognition Express’ Director described how the competition aims to thank those who dedicate their time and energy for their local junior football club:
“Our annual Unsung Heroes competition is a fantastic way to recognise those who support junior football clubs to ensure young players reach their potential. Anyone who goes over and above for the club can be nominated, from coaches and caretakers to secretaries and groundsmen. Anyone whose selflessness and commitment allows girls and boys to enjoy football in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.”
He continued:
“With club sponsorship hard to come by, along with the added expenses for parents and guardians, Recognition Express is delighted to offer one lucky team the chance to light up their next season in a new kit – in a design of their choosing.”
As the B2B franchise specialises in promotional items and branded apparel, it’s perfectly placed to create a smart new football kit, including shirts, shorts and socks. But, as Lian explains, being able to celebrate someone special is a bonus. He added:
“It gives us the chance to recognise the contribution these unsung heroes make and give something back to the community that we serve.”
Recognition Express’ simple entry form can be submitted by anyone, so if you know a Buckinghamshire-based ‘hero’ and would like to nominate them yourself, you can! Just head to https://www.recognition-express.com/southbucks/nominate-football-hero to make your suggestion. Entries will be accepted until Sunday 5th April and the winner will be revealed on Monday 13th April.
