Radfield Home Care runs digital franchise forum
Radfield Home Care turned to digital resources to deliver its ‘Pathway to Outstanding’ franchise forum.
The care franchise’s biannual conference usually gives franchisees the chance to meet in person to share insights, but this year it was moved online. But despite the changes, attendees were still able to take advantage of a full itinerary, including feedback sessions, breakaway group discussions and five-year planning meetings.
Dr Hannah MacKechnie, co-founder and franchisor of Radfield Home Care, said,
‘It goes without saying, 2020 has been a challenging year. This does not mean that the support we provide to franchise partners has to be impacted though - even if that support has traditionally depended on face-to-face contact.
“Our franchise forums are the centre of our annual support calendar. They are valuable not just for the innovations announced and motivation achieved, but enabling franchise partners to form relationships and share ideas is invaluable. We believe a big benefit of joining a franchise is not only the support we offer, but also the power of the network and peer-to-peer support, so we were adamant our franchise forum would still go ahead this year.”
The focus of the event was on boosting the network’s CQC ratings. Representatives from the Care Improvement Associate were on hand to discuss the requirements for achieving an Outstanding score during inspection. The franchise’s Care Compliance & Operations Manager, Sue Waldron, also ran through the support systems implemented by the business to reach its goals.
During the forum, participants also had the chance to reflect on the year’s achievements. 100 percent of Radfield Home Care’s staff said they felt able to do their job safely during the pandemic, and the franchise’s total revenue increased by an impressive 91 percent.
Radfield Home Care hopes to be able to meet with franchisees in person for the next forum, scheduled for May 2021, but will be ready with online resources if not.
