Radfield Home Care is rolling out its brand new, innovative 20-day training course for all new franchisees
The training sessions will be split into a five-day induction course, which will introduce the very basics of running a franchise including recruitment, marketing and the most important things any new business owner needs to know. As Radfield welcome franchisees who’ve never run their own business before, this initial stage of the training programme has been designed to give all new franchise partners the most well-informed and supported start possible.
After new franchisees have completed this course, another 15 days of training are provided over the first few weeks of business. These will cover more advanced topics such as the franchise’s intranet and software, digital marketing, CQC expectations and ensuring the franchisee’s registered care manager is up to speed with everything.
By providing new franchisees with a comprehensive and staggered training programme, that builds detailed knowledge of how to run a successful business in less than a month, Radfield Home Care is ensuring its franchise partners get on the road to success as early as possible.
Owner Hannah MacKechnie explained how the business feels this new training opportunity will benefit franchisees.
“By the end of the introductory training week, our franchise partners have the know-how required to operate a Radfield Home Care business with the guidance of our support team. However, we have developed an extended training course to ensure that every aspect of operating a Radfield franchise business is reviewed in detail, allowing our franchise partners to have the full range of skills, understanding and knowledge to develop sustainable home care businesses.”
She added that, despite the training programme being over quickly, franchisees have constant access to the support team throughout their franchise journey, be that five months or five years down the line.
Since 2016, Radfield Home Care has been providing compassionate and professional care services to elderly people across the UK. As the UK’s only healthcare franchise to become a Certified B Corp, it’s committed to ethical practice in all areas of business and is motivated by compassion rather than just cash.
