Franchisees of Radfield Home Care get an invite from Google HQ

Radfield Home Care relies on the digital world to thrive. It enables them to gain presence and recruit excellent carers, and data management systems are essential for many of its daily operations. So, Phil MacKechnie, Digital Marketing Manager, jumped at the change to visit Google HQ and Hubspot to learn more about new technologies and how to streamline their processes.

Alongside other online marketeers, Phil spent two days at the event. He also went along with Samuel Holmes and Jennie Bardrick from the Hastings franchisee.

Google kickstarted the event with discussions on technology that could help the franchise gain wider reach, such as Home Services ads that are still in development. The tech giant also shared the fascinating stat that by 2020 over 50% of Google searches are likely to be made by voice command.

After the session with Google, Hubspot imparted insights on data management techniques. This part of the event also gave Phil and Samuel the chance to ensure their CRM systems are efficient and that the franchisees are complying with the recently-imposed GDPR regulations. They also learnt about the latest Google algorithm updates along with data management software and the benefits of SEO and advertising through Google.

Radfield Home Care has always embraced the benefits of a robust digital marketing strategy. It already uses social media, Google AdWords PPC and SEO techniques for recruitment and to make sure the Home Care agency can easily be found on numerous online systems.

As one of the UK’s top 100 franchises, Radfield Home Care has been operating since 2008 and has nine independently owned offices across the country. It provides award winning personalised home care to support people in their own homes by helping to administer medication, prepare meals, do the shopping, take care of household duties, get out and about and offer companionship.

A family-owned business, it has grown from a residential home care franchise in 1982 to a nationwide home care provider over three generations.
