Radfield Home Care Gets Two New Franchises
Home care franchise, Radfield, has expanded its network with two more businesses set to open soon.
Already in the top 100 franchises, Radfield Home Care has no plans to stop and has announced that it will open two more franchises in the very near future.
The new owners will bring the home care services to Harrogate in North Yorkshire and Kingston and Richmond in London. Matthew Nutting and Jonathan Nutting are a father and son team opening the Harrogate franchise, while Shamsah Lalji will run the new territories in London.
Matthew Nutting has already had a strong career within the healthcare industry, working as an occupational therapist within the NHS. His understanding and appreciation for the home care industry and how quality-led care brings huge benefits for the community encouraged him to open his franchise. He explains this in more detail, “both my wife and I have always worked within healthcare, so we have a lot of knowledge of the home care sector. This meant that it was essential for us to choose a franchisor that echoed our values and focused on high standards of care, helping older people remain independent”.
Shamsah Lalji shares similar passions to Nutting, which prompted her to approach Radfield Home Care. She says, “I knew that I wanted to launch a home care business and provide high quality care to those in need; helping them to live safer, happier and more fulfilling lives in their own home”.
Lalji also worked in healthcare, before taking the opportunity to open her own business. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years where she learned more about the relationship between healthcare and the community, and she wanted to open her own business to give something back.
Both Nutting and Lalji’s attitudes towards home care are why Radfield Home Care was confident in offering each the franchise opportunity.
Radfield Home Care Franchisor, Dr Hannah MacKechnie mentioned that all of its franchisees are of an exceptionally high calibre, which reflects the strength of its business model.
Radfield Home Care first started out in 1982 as a residential care home and is now a leading home care franchise. It was the first healthcare organisation in the UK to achieve a B Corporation status – a global movement promoting ethical practices in business.
