Radfield Home Care brings compassion to Point Franchise

Radfield Home Care is the newest addition to Point Franchise’s network – they’re a family business with plenty of heart.
Point Franchise is thrilled to introduce Radfield Home Care, the home care franchise that’s on a mission to become the very best in the sector. The multi award-winning company has only been franchising for 18 months but is already developing a reputation as one of the most compassionate care companies in the UK. With services from scheduled one-hour visits to round-the-clock 24-hour care, Radfield Home Care can provide a variety of care services that allow elderly or disabled individuals to remain independent and in the homes they love. The service provided is so trusted that even the founders’ own grandparents have received care through a Radfield franchise.
Established in 2008 by GP Dr Hannah MacKechnie and her brother, Alex Green, Radfield Home Care was designed to follow in the footsteps of their parents’ successful residential care home. After their experience working in the residential home, the two siblings decided that there was a gap in the market for a truly compassionate home care service. The two worked hard to build their business (initially from a garage!) and in late 2016 they welcomed their first franchisee, after realising they needed to expand the business further than they could manage alone. Radfield Home Care now has 10 branches across the country and is actively looking for more franchisees to join its community of care.
Radfield Home Care is the first and only healthcare company in the UK to become a certified B Corp (Better Corporations) franchise, which is the stamp of approval for companies with ethical business practice. It means that every decision taken is considered carefully, helping to minimise any negative impacts on shareholders, franchisees and employees.
To start their own franchising journey with Radfield, franchisees will simply need plenty of enthusiasm and the skills to succeed, including drive, ambition and organisation – experience within the home care sector isn’t necessary. The franchise also has strong working relationships with banks including HSBC and Lloyds Bank to facilitate business loans for those who are determined to succeed but are struggling to find the money to begin their franchise journey.
