Puddle Ducks’ directors have been recognised for their hard work at an influential franchising awards evening.
Puddle Ducks has been celebrating as two of its most important team members were jointly crowned at the 2019 NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Awards. The exciting events ceremony, which was held in London, celebrates the brightest and best women in the world of franchising and encourages them to take the leap.
Puddle Ducks directors, Jo Stone and Tracy Townend, were jointly crowned ‘Overall Woman in Franchising’, the highest honour of the evening. To make the win even sweeter, the title was handed over by colleague Ali Beckman, who is technical director and head teacher at the swimming franchise and received the award in 2018.
The pair previously took home the title in 2017 and also jointly won the title of ‘Women Franchisor of the Year’ at this year’s ceremony.
Stone expressed her delight at the win, saying:
“We are so happy to have been chosen as Woman Franchisor of the Year and it was a real surprise to receive the Overall Woman in Franchising Award as well! Tracey and I are thrilled that we’re able to take that baton from Ali, keeping the title in the Puddle Ducks office of the second year in a row. The company would not be what it is today without the strong, supportive relationship that we share with each other, as well as with our fantastic network of franchisees and our national office team at Duck HQ.”
With more than 30 franchisees operating across 50 territories nationwide, Puddle Ducks is one of the UK’s most exciting swimming franchises. It’s seeking new franchisees to bring its swim schools to even more children across the country to help them become confident in the water.
