Popcat’s Music Time welcomes new franchisee

Former primary school teacher Claire is the newest franchisee to launch her very own business with Popcat’s Music Time.
The education franchise was delighted to welcome Claire on board in late July and the new franchisee will be launching classes in the Neston area of Wirral in September. After spending more than 20 years as a primary school teacher, Claire was looking for a new challenge. And when she attended a Popcat’s class with her little boy Danny, she was instantly hooked on the concept. Three years after joining her first class, Claire is now ready to run her own sessions for local mums and dads.
Explaining why she took the plunge and became part of the Popcat’s franchise network, Claire said:
“As a Primary School teacher for the last 20 years, Popcat’s is an obvious progression for me. I will still enable children to learn and develop in such a fun environment whilst working around my family. I’m so excited about starting my own Popcat’s classes and look forward to welcoming you very soon!”
Claire also revealed why she has enjoyed attending Popcat’s classes with her own son over the years.
“I’ve loved seeing how his experiences of classes have changed as he’s grown – from staring at the bubbles and shaking the bells as a baby. To now saying it’s the bunnies next as he lies on the floor ready to jump up and dance!”
While Zoom classes are still being run by Popcat’s franchisees, some of its loyal fans will be able to return to face-to-face classes from September. The franchise has been given approval by Environmental Health to reopen, so little ones will be able to get their educational music fix in less than a month’s time.
The franchise is taking safety seriously, introducing measures like a 14 children maximum, strict social distancing, creating bubbles of four-week blocks to minimise children mixing and thoroughly cleaning equipment and instruments after every session.
