Papa Johns gets into the Halloween Spirit

Papa John’s offers strange looking treats that promise to be spell-bindingly good.
Halloween might has passed and most of us are looking ahead to the festive season now, but Papa John’s unusually spooky offerings were certainly a highlight that needs to be shared.
To celebrate the ghoulish day, the pizza franchise Papa John's decided to create a more appropriate version of its tasty garlic cheese sticks. The ‘spooky sticks’ divided diners because of their seemingly charred exterior that made them seem like they’d been forgotten in the oven. However, Papa John’s revealed that the sticks’ dark topping was actually a special type of cheese that is crafted to come out black, the Ilchester Black Cheddar Total Eclipse.
Despite the unusual appearance, those who braved the spooky sticks were happy to report that the dark cheese was delicious, adding a smooth malty flavour to the tempting garlic bread bites. As well as the trick savoury offering, which was available until Sunday, Papa John’s also added a special seasonal treat to its menu in the form of Toffee Apple Sticks. Made with specially baked dough that’s topped with sweet toffee and chunky apple sauce and finished with a decadent drizzle of even more toffee, it’s a treat that’s bound to be popular throughout the cold months.
The pizza franchise is also offering a generous deal to all of its customers, giving them the chance to save a massive 40 percent on their meals when they spend £40 or more. The offer is available at every one of its 400 UK locations and might just be the perfect excuse to invite friends and family round and indulge in a feast of tasty pizza.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Papa John’s offers better pizza by always using fresh and quality ingredients.
