Papa John’s Releases Cheeseburger Pizza

Papa John’s customers can now enjoy tucking into cheeseburger pizzas at its outlets across the world.


As part of its missions to bring more flavours to its pizza lovers around the world, Papa John’s has just released a cheeseburger topping.

Named the BBQ Cheeseburger Pizza, it is topped with BBQ tomato sauce, cheese, spicy beef, sliced pickles, tomatoes and onions. It brings the classic all-American cheeseburger taste to the world of pizza, combining two of the nation’s favourite treats. You can get the new BBQ Cheeseburger Pizza for £8.99 for a medium.

The pickles have been specially selected for their taste after rounds of sampling. As the product description explains, “after trying all the options for sliced pickles on the market, we still weren’t satisfied that any of them were good enough for this utterly scrumptious slice – so we took matters into our own hands. After sampling gherkins at specialist eateries, we found the perfect one for this pizza – aromatic spices are combined with a sweet pickle liquor over cucumber slices for the ultimate cheeseburger treat”.

The pizza will sit alongside other favourites inspired by cuisines, including the Greek with feta cheese, olives, oregano, red onion, pepperoncini and tomatoes, and the Mexican with jalapeno peppers, red peppers, spicy beef, onions and chilli powder.

Of course that’s not all that’s on offer. Customers can also choose from favourites such as the Premium Hawaiian, Sausage & Pepperoni, Chicken Club with bacon, chicken and fresh tomatoes, and Garden Party with red onions, peppers, tomatoes, sweetcorn and mushrooms.
