Dream come true or worst nightmare – which one will Papa John’s new marmite pizza be for you?
Despite being just a humble spread, Marmite has the power to divide us in the same way that big issues like politics and religion can and it’s said that people either love or hate the yeasty creation. So, pizza lovers across the nation will either be jumping for joy or recoiling in horror at the thought of Papa John’s newest addition to its menu.
The pizza franchise unveiled its brand new Marmite stuffed crust pizza earlier this month and began selling the tasty treat on Monday. The base is available with any of its pizza toppings, from classic Margherita, Hawaiian and Pepperoni to its brand new Vegan Sheese options, which will add a rich savoury hit to the veggie-based pizzas. The Marmite stuffed crust will be available for a limited time only and will join the new and popular Marmite scrolls on Papa John’s menu, which have proved a hit with customers.
Liz Williams, Managing Director for Papa John’s, said:
“Following the huge success of our Marmite Scrolls earlier this year, we’re extremely excited to spread the partnership beyond our side menu and into the crusts of our popular pizzas. Ingredient innovation is at the core of our menu and we’re sure that the addition of Marmite to our cheesy crusts will be a huge hit.”
Papa John’s has more than 5,000 locations spanning 45 countries and is one of the best known and loved pizza franchises in the world. By putting the quality of its fresh ingredients at the heart of everything it does, it’s managed to stay at the top of its game for more than 30 years producing delicious pizzas that range from classic favourites to innovative new flavours. The pizza franchise is always on the lookout for ambitious business people to join its franchisee network.
