My Window Cleaner branches out into the world of franchising with its first new franchised branch.

My Window Cleaner has welcomed its first franchisees as it expands its window cleaning service across the UK.

Alan Jarvis and his partner Charlotte have taken over the Canterbury franchise, which opened for business in early August. The couple wanted to invest their time and money in an opportunity that would lead to a bright future for their young family, so Alan left his 30-year career in retail to become a My Window Cleaner franchisee. He explained exactly what led him to choose the franchise to begin his business with.

“I’d always wanted to have my own business and always fancied working outdoors. I had to make a decision on whether to franchise or go out on my own, but after meeting with My Window Cleaner’s directors there was only one choice.”

He praised the business for the support it’s offered him and Charlotte, from the extensive training programme to the commitment from everyone right up to the franchise’s directors. Alan added that he’s keen to make the most out of the opportunity, saying:

“The potential [for growth] is absolutely enormous, we offer a really good range of services and the systems are excellent. I’m not one to sit back and relax and the option to keep growing and take on staff was really important to me. It’s a very exciting time for us.”

My Window Cleaner franchise director, Ian Bradley, expressed the company’s joy at its first franchisees.

“This is a wonderful milestone for the company and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to start our franchise journey with. Alan and Charlotte share our ethos of passion and pride in their work and have customer service in their blood. The response since we franchised the business has been very strong and we’re looking forward to helping more people go into business for themselves, backed by proven systems and experienced support.”

Founder Karen Prewer added that she was “thrilled” to welcome Alan and Charlotte and said it was “the beginning of a new chapter for us all”. Since it was set up in 1996, My Window Cleaner has revolutionised the window cleaning industry, with its innovative technology and fully-insured, professional staff.
