My Window Cleaner celebrates franchisee anniversary

My Window Cleaner is celebrating the first anniversary of its ambitious pilot franchisees and is now looking forward to more years of success.
One year ago, My Window Cleaner welcomed its very first franchisee team and it’s safe to say that they have exceeded expectations to establish a very successful business.
Alan and Charlotte are the team behind the company’s first window cleaning franchise and set up operations a year ago in the city of Canterbury. Business has been so successful that, during their last week of trading in year one, the pair managed to generate more than £2,000 of income in just one week. They’ve even had to recruit a new team member to help them keep up with the incredible levels of demand and help business grow even more in the coming months.
Speaking about his first year as a franchisee, Alan said:
“This has been an amazing year. We have had the ups and we have had the downs, including the van breaking down, but we wouldn’t have got through the year without the support and guidance from the team at My Window Cleaner. It’s not all down to Team Canterbury; it’s Team My Window Cleaner, and of course not forgetting the support that the customer services team have given. So, thank you and we will raise a glass of champagne to the team, and here’s to a successful Year 2!”
It's not just the positive feedback from Alan that shows how much potential My Window Cleaner has for other franchisees, as his positive sentiments were backed up by statistics. Compared to estimates set out in the franchise plan one year ago, Alan and Charlotte exceed turnover by 7.7 percent and saw 49.9 percent higher average customer spends. They’ve also managed to retain an incredible 93 percent of their customers.
Founder and Managing Director, Karen Prewer, expressed her delight at the pair’s successful first year.
“Our business was established 23 years ago and the core business today has over 5,000 regular customers. We have worked equally hard to put the systems and processes in place for our franchise partners to use and benefit from. These results prove our model, brand and customer reputation and we are pushing forwards with helping new franchise owners join the network and benefit from our experience and expertise.”
Franchise Director Ian Bradley praised the pair for their hard work.
“Results like this don’t come easy. Alan and Charlotte have been focused and dedicated to starting and growing their business and are now reaping the rewards. Our bespoke IT system demonstrates the scalability of the business opportunity, to become true business owners and grow from a one-person operation to more of a management style format.”
He added:
“Our other franchise partners are also proving the model, regardless of geography and competition. I am now looking to grow the network further, ensuring that we grant territories to the right quality of person and assist them in growing a great business.”
