In recent years we have been honoured to see Blossom Home Care be nominated for – and win – a large number of awards celebrating quality in the care industry.
We see this as vindication for our unique approach to home care services: putting the client’s needs at the absolute forefront to deliver truly personalised care.
As well as illustrating how Blossom Home Care has grown to become one of the most trusted and well-respected brands in the care industry, it also highlights the incredible work of our franchise owners and their staff. They’ve fused our proven business model with hard work, commitment, and dedication to the care sector – and they are being suitably recognised for their efforts.
So we are hugely pleased to announce that many individuals from across the business – from franchise owners to frontline carers – have been shortlisted for yet more awards.
What awards have Blossom Home Care been nominated for?
Most of our latest nominations have come from the Great British Care Awards. These are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
No fewer than ten members of the Blossom Home Care network have been nominated for a variety of individual awards, including the Home Care Worker Award, Palliative Care Award, and Dementia Care Award, among many other categories.
In the North East regional awards, the Northallerton office has been nominated in seven different categories and the Durham office in six categories. Meanwhile, our Tadcaster & York and Beverley offices have picked up two and one category nominations respectively at the Yorkshire & Humberside regional awards.
Meanwhile, Roberta of Blossom Home Care Durham has been nominated for the Rising Star Award at the Women Achievement Greatness in Social Care (WAGS) Awards. These recognise accomplishments at all levels of leadership and from across the whole of the social care sector; including services for older people, people with learning disabilities and/or autism and children, young people and families.
Commenting on the batch of nominations, Blossom Home Care co-founder Fiona Leggott said: “I am so proud of the Blossom team and I wish them all the best of luck!”
