Mr Simms is bringing its vintage-inspired sweet shop concept to Point Franchise’s network – let’s find out more …
Point Franchise is thrilled to welcome Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe to its vast network of franchise opportunities. The sweet shop franchise brings a taste of nostalgia to high streets across the country and is looking for new franchisees who can help it expand to new locations up and down the UK.
Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe was founded back in 2004 by Martin Peet, who comes from a long line of sweet shopkeepers dating back as far as the late 19th century. He decided that the UK needed a vintage-inspired sweet shop and set up his innovative franchise, which now boasts more than 75 locations across the country. It’s even begun to expand internationally and is seeking new franchisees, both on domestic and international shores, to bring its concept to new customers.
No previous experience in confectionary or retail is needed to become a Mr Simms franchisee, as a comprehensive suite of training is provided to each new member of the network once they join. You’ll need to attend the franchise’s training course at its centre in Stafford, which includes sessions at the centre and in-store, so you get hands-on experience before your doors open for business.
Despite the high cost associated with retail franchises, you’ll need to invest between £37,000 and £59,500 to open your own location of Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe. So, if you’re looking to become part of a brand that brings traditional confectionary to your local area, it could be a much more affordable prospect than you may have initially thought.
We’re delighted to welcome the unique franchise to our network and can’t wait to hear more from Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe soon.
