Mooboo is bringing its signature brand of bubble tea to Reading Town Centre.
Mooboo Bubble Tea has opened its newest franchise in Reading Town Centre. It will occupy a unit in the Broad Street Mall, which is a popular shopping destination in the area and thirsty shoppers will be able to sample its exciting range of drinks.
Mooboo has a huge menu, which includes fruit tea (with flavours including green apple, kiwi, lemon mint, mango and lychee), mocktails, smoothies and milk tea. All are made with its signature tapioca ‘bubbles’ that give a chewy hit to the drinks and have made bubble tea so popular. For the adventurous, the franchise even offers savoury teas, with exotic flavours such as cheese and salty matcha available for brave customers to try.
Graham Mountford, centre manager at Broad Street Mall, expressed his excitement at the centre’s newest addition.
"We're delighted to welcome Mooboo Bubble Tea to Broad Street Mall. Its diverse menu offers so much for customers to choose from.”
He added that Mooboo will make an excellent addition to the wide range of food and drink options already on offer.
As bubble tea took off in popularity a few years ago, founder Eric Khaw saw an opportunity to create a business. He aimed to make the best bubble tea possible, drawing on traditional Taiwanese recipes to turn his passion for the drink into a profitable business model that he could share with other tea enthusiasts. The business was so successful that a few franchises have now diversified into delicious bubble waffles, fluffy and delicious treats that can be covered in mouth-watering toppings.
Now, with its new branch proving to be a hit with the shoppers of Reading, Mooboo is looking to continue growing its drinks franchise across the UK.
