Minuteman Press has launched a free COVID-19 resource to help the economy recover.

To support businesses struggling during the COVID-19 crisis, Minuteman Press has launched its Bounce Back UK scheme. The programme gives local organisations the chance to access free advertising slots and get their sales figures back up. And on top of this, the printing franchise is also giving coronavirus awareness and prevention posters to businesses in the area.

Nick Titus, Minuteman Press’s International President, said:

“We truly believe that a rising tide will lift all ships, and we want to make sure our communities stay afloat.”

Businesses in Minuteman Press’s service areas can complete an online form and upload their logo, promote any special discounts and provide a description of their services. Then, consumers can use this site a to find out what businesses in their area are offering.

The lightbulb moment behind the Bounce Back scheme came from John Taylor, a franchisee in Nashville, Tennessee. He said:

“I realised that what I need to do is simply engage Nashville. Well, how can I do that? I can’t force it on them nor did I want to. Then, it hit me, and Bounce Back Nashville – now Bounce Back UK – was born.”

He continued:

“The response has been absolutely incredible. Everybody is in. Nobody wants to see themselves suffer and everybody has the same community spirit. It has been embraced like I couldn’t have imagined. The Bounce Back Nashville movement has 500 members already, and I am making ads every hour.”

When he heard about Taylor’s idea, Titus was keen to make sure the entire network benefited:

“When John told us what he was doing in Nashville, we thought it was a brilliant idea. I got on the phone with him and after discussing it we moved quickly to make the Bounce Back initiative available at all of our franchise locations so that we can help lift up other small businesses during this critical time. It’s not just in Nashville but in communities across the UK where we are all in this together.”
