Minster Cleaning franchisees turned to the internet when their annual conference was cancelled.
For franchisees at the UK-based cleaning franchise, the new year brings the chance to focus on upcoming goals and network at the business’s annual conference. But this year, Minster Cleaning was forced to change its plans.
Through a series of Teams video calls, people in the franchise network were still able to get in touch to share best practice, discuss the year ahead and have some fun. Franchisees made contact with the teams in charge of investor support, as well as marketing, operations, accounting and IT.
Mike Parker, Minster Cleaning’s Managing Director, explained how the video calls helped people working within the franchise:
“We’ve all had a very productive couple of weeks, spending quality time and engaging with our franchisees. We’ve had positive discussions about their individual businesses and ways they can grow in 2021.
“These virtual sessions have enabled franchisees to stand back from their businesses for a moment and think about planning for tomorrow and how they can plan to build value across their businesses using the skills and knowledge of the Network Support Team.”
Although the pandemic has created challenges for Minster Cleaning’s franchisees, they have been able to cater to an increased demand for deep clean services and more frequent visits.
Mike added,
“Covid-19 has challenged all businesses, even commercial cleaning, but the need for premises to be cleaned helps our franchise ride the waves and operate in a recession-resistant market. I am so impressed and proud of the resilience and determination our franchisees have shown during this time and I look forward to helping them succeed during 2021.”
