New Franchise Operations Manager Louise Harris saw first-hand how franchisees had stepped up in the face of the Covid-19 crisis to keep things running smoothly.

After visiting 13 Mathnasium centres across the UK, Louise is confident that the tutoring franchise has a bright future - and a path of growth - ahead. Every employee that Louise spoke with was positive, and despite the constant changing of restrictions across the past year, many franchisees had managed to grow their businesses and continued to enjoy their work.

Discussing the success of Mathnasium centres across the country, Louise explained,

“People are saying now’s the time to invest in our children and their education. Mathnasium helps them get ahead as well as catch up. It’s giving them an advantage. I saw children coming into the centres eagerly. They all got down to work quickly and were clearly loving it. They grow hugely in confidence, not just at Mathnasium but in their ability to learn, and giving a child a love of learning and the confidence that they can do it at such a young age will serve them so well for the future.”

Louise honed in on specific training needs surrounding digital marketing techniques during her tour, and she’s determined to focus on filling these needs and accommodating the continuous professional development of everyone at Mathnasium, even as the franchise continues to succeed.

Louise also expressed a preference for a multi-centre model of franchising, in which already-thriving franchisees expand their role and investment in the company. She said, “It’s a delight, working with these guys. At least half are looking at a second centre - and that’s just what we’re looking for in our next franchisees.”

If you’re enthusiastic, good with kids, and looking for a career with plenty of growth opportunities, you might be the perfect Mathnasium franchisee. To invest in the company, you’ll need to put in a minimum of £30,000.
