Marla Custom Blinds sheds light on its opportunity

Marla Custom Blinds has revealed how one of its newest franchisees managed to get their operations off to a fantastic start.
Even though a franchise offers a supported route to business ownership, it can still be daunting thinking about running your own operations without any idea of what to expect. Marla Custom Blinds has shed light on how one of its successful franchisees, Mike McBryde, got started back in June 2018.
The interior decorating franchise revealed how Mike made the most of its specially developed four-stage launch campaign to hit the ground running. First, he put in the hours doing his own research about where his business could be marketed most effectively across the local area. Then, Mike met with Marla’s head office team at its Fareham premises to discuss which opportunities could help him promote the business. Once this was done, personalised marketing collateral was created to enable Mike to do this.
Step three saw the franchise plant plenty of seeds about Mike’s brand new business before he was even in operation. From the first week of his initial training, targeted print and online adverts started to drum up interest and make sure that Mike had sales leads by the time he’d finished his training.
Then came the technical bit – optimised adverts designed to be seen by exactly the right people. Working with Marla’s Google Adwords partner, Bold Internet, all of his campaigns were tweaked to make sure they had as much of an impact as possible. After they were released, in-house specialists continued to monitor their reach to make sure Mike really had the best chance of generating lots of business.
And it’s clear that the franchise’s efforts paid off, as Mike generated more than £60,000 worth of quotes within just a few months. Any new franchisee that joins the Marla Custom Blinds network will receive the same extensive launch package, making sure you’re able to get off to a fantastic start just as Mike has.
