Leading business performance coach joins ActionCOACH

ActionCOACH welcomes new Director Myles Downey to its UK support team.

The big news came at the ActionCOACH franchise conference a few weeks ago. Myles Downey is widely considered to be a world-class authority on performance, coaching and leadership. He’s written three classic books in the business coaching profession: ‘Effective Modern Coaching’, ‘Effective Coaching’ and, most recently, ‘Enabling Genius – a mindset for success in the 21st Century’.

There were over 200 franchise partners and their teams at the conference. Downey gave an empowering speech that got them reminiscing about why they chose to become business coaches in the first place. He also shared some of the tools and frameworks that the franchise network can make the most of, so they can provide exceptional coaching and drive results.

Downey commented:

“I’ve worked with ActionCOACH several times over the last 10 years, delivering master classes to develop coaching skills. From my perspective, ActionCOACH is very different from every other coaching business in the UK, in fact, I would say globally.”

He will be leading the business coaching franchise’s 2020 campaign that encourages UK business owners to ‘Think Big’. We don’t mean big profits or big actions like you might think. Although this part and parcel of how a business coach can transform a business, this campaign focuses on directing business owners to think like a big business that would use the expertise of lots of different professionals.

Downey continued:

“For example, rather than ask your nephew to build your company’s website because he knows how to code, we’re reminding business owners that bringing in the professionals will save you time and money in the long run.
