The award-winning South American cuisine restaurant franchise, Las Iguanas prepares the launch of sprawling 200-seater restaurant in South Africa.
Las Iguanas, part of one of the largest independent restaurant companies in the UK – Casual Dining Group- is gearing up for the launch of its sprawling 200-seater restaurant in South Africa’s Irene Mall, Centurian on 7th June. Gold Brands is the franchisee to bring to South Africa its very first Las Iguanas restaurant that specialises in authentic South American cuisine. When asked about the upcoming opening of its first Las Iguanas restaurant in South Africa, a Gold Brands spokesperson said: "Las Iguanas will bring new flavours and exciting new Latin American dishes, along with their own unique Brazilian bottled Las Iguanas Magnifica Cachaça.”
South Africa’s first Las Iguanas sprawling 200-seater restaurant will generate over 60 new jobs, ranging from chefs, kitchen assistants, bartenders and waiters. In addition, Gold Brand’s head office has created two positions which includes a head chef and an operations manager. Gold Brands COO, Stelio Nathanael announced in a statement: "South Africans are always hungry for new places to dine and Las Iguanas will fill the gap with this fantastic, well established concept.”
South Africa’s Las Iguanas franchise will be operated by Gold Brand, South Africa’s only AltX-listed fast food retail company.
