Kumon is on the hunt for 22 new franchisees in Australia

Tutoring franchise Kumon is offering new and existing franchise opportunities for aspiring business owners.
Multinational educational institution Kumon has targeted New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, Victoria and Western Australia as part of its expansion mission down under. There are currently 317 Kumon locations in Australia and 30 across New Zealand.
Kumon is the largest after-school education programme across the globe with over four million students enrolled in 57 countries. If you’re based in the UK and aren’t prepared to move abroad to become a Kumon franchisee, don’t worry – it’s also using franchising to further its UK coverage.
Kumon offers maths and English tutoring to children of all ages and abilities. The Kumon Method of Learning was developed in 1954 by Toru Kumon, a parent and teacher from Japan. There are more than 70,000 students learning in 650 study centres in the UK and Ireland.
You don’t need any previous experience in the education industry to be accepted as a franchisee, but it is advantageous. You’ll be supported by an Area Manager who will offer advice and guidance after you’ve launched.
Click here to visit the franchising section of Kumon’s website. There’s plenty of helpful information, including the Kumon Quick Checker that helps you decide whether a Kumon franchise is right for you.
You can find out more at one of Kumon’s orientation meetings in your area. On 8th, 12th, 14th and 15th of February there are sessions in London, and on 26th February you can attend in Bristol.
Unfortunately, you’ve just missed the meetings in other major cities but there’s still ample information on its Point Franchise client page.
