Krispy Kreme treats customers to discounted doughnuts

Krispy Kreme offers American reward members a dozen glazed doughnuts for just $1.

Krispy Kreme has been rewarding its loyal American customers with cut price doughnuts. Between the 12th and 13th of June, in participating American stores, all Krispy Kreme Rewards Members were able to pick up 12 glazed doughnuts for only a dollar. The exciting discount was a huge hit with customers.

The offer was available to any members who bought any variety of full-price dozen doughnuts. To make things even better, each customer was able to buy up to two dozen doughnuts for just $2 and share the delicious treats with their friends, family or lucky co-workers. Although the discounted doughnuts were classic glazed, customers could buy any variety of dozen doughnuts to qualify for the offer. Tempting flavours on offer included apple fritter, cake batter, dulce de leche, New York cheesecake and double dark chocolate.

All customers needed to do to benefit from the promotion was download the Krispy Kreme app onto their phones and sign up, becoming a member of the Krispy Kreme Rewards scheme. The app also entitles customers to perks such as free doughnuts and drinks when they’ve earned a certain amount of points and a free birthday reward.

The Krispy Kreme franchise, which was established in 1937, now has over 1000 locations across more than 25 countries. The company offers over 40 varieties of doughnut and mini doughnut holes in its US stores, as well as special collaborations and seasonal additions to its delicious selection.

It also sells a wide range of drinks including frozen and iced coffee and chocolate drinks, flavoured hot coffees and summertime frozen lemonades. Its menu often changes for seasonal promotions and new doughnut varieties are often released for special occasions, such as Valentines day and the recent Royal wedding.
