Jackson Fire & Security comes to the capital

Jackson Fire & Security has welcomed its first franchisee to operate in the London area to the network.
Jackson Fire & Security has welcomed many franchisees across the UK but has not yet managed to make its mark on the capital. So, the security franchise was thrilled to welcome Martin Lawton to its network as the first franchisee to offer its services in the Greater London area.
Martin has a strong background, having worked in ‘life safety’ at Heathrow Airport for much of his career, as well as supporting security services at large stadiums like the Emirates. He hopes his previous roles will lend themselves well to his role as a Jackson Fire & Security franchisee. Explaining why he’s right for the role, Martin said:
“I’ve worked for large companies and worked in building services for the last 20 years. In the last two years, I’ve been involved in fire alarm and life safety systems looking after localised safety within the commercial and public sectors. I’ve worked for social housing and been involved in stadiums, including the Emirates Stadium, as well as working at Heathrow as a contractor looking after life safety then directly as an asset manager. I’ve managed various bespoke fire and security contracts across London and the South-East, so safety and security has been in my background across all different sectors.”
He explained why the security franchise appealed to him and why, as a proud Londoner for more than 40 years, he chose to bring it to Kingston-upon-Thames.
“The main thing for me is providing good customer service, as I believe the industry should and it is about delivering what the customer expects. It would have been too much for me to branch out alone, but Jackson Fire & Security has a good record and this seemed appealing to me as an opportunity.”
