Jackson Fire and Security is gearing up to welcome a new franchisee with an educational background in technology.
Jackson Fire and Security has announced that it will be welcoming a new franchisee into its network who will be heading up its Manchester branch. Mohammad Salim Iqbal is going to be opening his location of Jackson Fire and Security soon, expanding the business franchise’s North West locations.
The ambitious new franchisee, who studied at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Pakistan, says that he’s looking forward to putting his education to good use heading up his branch of the franchise. Iqbal said that the combination of his career history in both large and small teams has set him up to run his own business.
“My roles required me to be switched on to technology developments, and ensuring the clients had the best possible solutions for their business needs, as well as making sure it was future proofed. This will give me an edge, especially on the security side. For example, CCTV is no longer just a camera recording a certain space. It’s much more sophisticated including accessing live footage on mobiles, as well as forensically analysing film to quickly and easily identify the incident.”
Iqbal has spent much of his time in London and says that he’s looking forward to building his business in the ‘capital of the north’, as he calls it. He said that his experience so far with the franchise has been nothing but positive and that he is looking forward to getting started.
“The training aspect has been very in-depth and thorough, including time spent with key people across the business from engineers and project managers, to marketing and back office support. I’m looking forward to getting out and about to meet new people and building relationships. The north is the place to be for business, particularly with the progress and development of the Northern Powerhouse. I view Manchester as the capital of the north and the opportunity to help Jackson Fire & Security expand into this city was too good an opportunity to turn down.”
