The Wolverhampton branch of Heavenly Desserts has been awarded a five-star hygiene rating.
The Heavenly Desserts franchise unit is celebrating its five-star hygiene rating after an inspection by Wolverhampton Council. The dessert franchise, which is located on Darlington Street, is proud to have been awarded the highest possible score, demonstrating its commitment to maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen at all times.
The council’s Food Safety Officer, Faye Pearson, explained the significance of the hygiene rating system:
"Food hygiene is so important and often gets over-looked. Achieving a food hygiene rating of five, fills customers with reassurance that they are eating in clean and safe environment to the highest standard as well as the business genuinely caring about its customers.”
She added:
“I would like to congratulate Heavenly Desserts and the many businesses who continue to achieve such high ratings."
Following the council’s visit, the restaurant was pleased to welcome the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Claire Darke, and invited her to try one of its tastiest dessert options. Darke even gave the franchise her stamp of approval, encouraging others to make the trip.
"I ordered the house special – waffles, strawberries, ice-cream and chocolate sauce. It was a generous portion and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and great coffee to wash it down. For anyone with a sweet tooth – I highly recommend popping into Heavenly Desserts, I can certainly see where they got their name from.”
Heavenly Desserts is a recent addition to our franchise portfolio but has been in operation since 2008. It aims to bring innovative practices to the table when it comes to creating luxury desserts to satisfy any customer with a sweet tooth.
