Fish and chips franchise Harry Ramsden’s is the latest company to join Point Franchise.
Point Franchise is delighted to introduce Harry Ramsden’s as the newest addition to its huge network of international franchises. The fish and chips company, which has more than 40 branches across the UK and Ireland, is a beloved brand and we can’t wait to see it expand as part of our network.
Serving the world-famous British classic for 90 years, Harry Ramsden’s knows a thing or two about fish and chips. Crispy batter that’s been fried to perfection encasing quality, fresh and flaky cod and a side of fluffy yet crunchy chips, the fish and chips franchise does the nation’s favourite dish well in every single one of its locations.
Harry Ramsden’s was founded in 1928 by the man himself and nothing was left to chance when he set his business up. Despite starting small, with the first branch in a wooden hut beside a tram stop in Guiseley, West Yorkshire, Harry was dedicated to making business a success. It’s said that he’d make more than 100 checks every single day before opening his restaurant to ensure that everything was perfect and that care and attention to detail is still a feature of all Harry Ramsden’s branches to this day.
Franchisees will have plenty of flexibility when opening their own branch, as Harry Ramsden’s can be operated in one of three formats: quick service restaurant, assisted service or full service restaurants. Once they’re on board, each franchisee will receive up to four weeks of training at their site, covering everything from supply chain, food preparation, cooking and how to deliver customer service that’s always memorable. Harry Ramsden’s is seeking ambitious franchisees who have the appetite for expansion, potentially going on to run multiple locations.
