FiltaFry’s Lee Morton has only been in business for six months but now manages two territories.
Fryer management franchise FiltaFry has been celebrating the rapid expansion of franchisee Lee Morton, after his fantastic start to business. Despite having purchased his Cardiff territory just six months ago, Lee’s ambitious business plan means that he’s already snapped up another territory in nearby Bristol. After meeting fellow franchisees at this year’s Filta franchise owners’ conference, he’s been inspired to make big plans for his business and hopes to grow a multi-van operation over the next few years.
Lee explained how he’s initially planning to expand his business. “I’ve now started looking for my first employee to man the other van whilst I look to build up my second territory, the Bristol (BS) postcode. I’ll then get both vans running at full capacity before looking to add another employee and a further 3rd van to my business.”
Lee also said how great his experience with Filtafry has been already, confessing that previous experiences with other franchises had left him feeling discouraged. However, after a brilliant first few months, with lots of support from those in head office including Franchise Manager Damian Slater, he says it’s confirmed that he picked the right franchise to invest his precious time and money into.
The company has even sponsored Lee’s son’s local football team, Caldicot Town AFC juniors, exemplifying its mantra that when you franchise you’re in business for yourself, but you’re never alone.
