FASTSIGNS training receives praise for setting up even novice franchisees with the tools to succeed.
FASTSIGNS has been encouraging potential franchisees to join its business by promoting its fantastic ‘Foundations’ training programme. Although new business owners might feel more comfortable entering an industry they’re familiar with, the sign franchise has been welcoming people with no industry experience for years with fantastic success.
Emily Heathcote, FASTSIGNS UK’s Executive Assistant, supports Managing Director John Davies in growing the franchise’s network and ensures things run smoothly for each franchisee on a day-to-day basis. She explained how the franchise supports its new recruits to ensure their journey to owning their own business is as smooth as possible.
“I think a lot of people are put off by the fact they don’t know anything about signage. The basis of our business is sales and marketing. The majority of our franchisees had no signage experience prior to opening a FASTSIGNS centre, but with the tools we have, the initial training and with our ongoing support, you can learn everything you need to build a successful business.”
After attending the FASTSIGNS ‘Foundations’ training programme in sunny Dallas for herself, Heathcote was able to see the in-depth and extensive preparation new franchisees receive. She said:
“I wanted to understand our training process, from the perspective of new franchisees. The FASTSIGNS ‘Foundations training’ course offers comprehensive training in sales through learning and role play. The course includes everything from going out and selling, to learning about the products.”
Heathcote called the training team “exceptional” and praised their methods and skills.
“They’re incredibly focussed on what they present to new franchisees. The team of five people are dedicated solely to the training programme. When they’re not training, they’re working to improve and develop the training they provide.”
She added that the programme was designed for those who know nothing about signage and that by following FASTSIGNS tried and tested business model, new franchisees will fast-track their way to success. With over 700 global locations, FASTSIGNS is one of the world’s leading sign franchises.
