For the fifth consecutive year, FASTSIGNS has been ranked the No. 1 franchise opportunity in its category in Entrepreneur magazine’s prestigious Franchise 500.

FASTSIGNS was also ranked No. 44 overall and is the only sign, graphics, and visual communications franchise even in the top 100. The successful franchise was recognised for its outstanding performance in areas such as unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand power.

Mark Jameson, FASTSIGNS International’s Chief Support and Development Officer, expressed how proud he was of his team’s achievements, particularly after such an uncertain year .

“We are incredibly proud to once again be the No. 1 franchise opportunity in the sign, graphics, and visual communications sector. After such an unprecedented year with so much uncertainty, our business model continued to show its resiliency and FASTSIGNS emerged strong and poised for growth in 2021.

“This recognition is proof of our outstanding international network of franchisees and their commitment to serving their communities as well as our exceptional franchise support team that worked around the clock to help the system succeed .”

FASTSIGNS has also signed 31 new franchise agreements over the last year, which include licenses for co-branded and converted centres across the globe. The sign franchise also added 30 brand-new locations, including FASTSIGN’s first Dominican Republic center.

During the pandemic, FASTSIGNS’ centers were deemed essential businesses, allowing franchisees to focus on serving their customers and adapting their product ranges for the unprecedented circumstances . This has allowed the franchise to enjoy another great year

FASTSIGNS is aiming to expand further and hopes to sign at least 35 franchise agreements across the U.S. It’s focusing particularly on areas including Southern California, the Midwest, New England, and along the Northeast Corridor.

The franchise is also keen to promote its co-brand and conversion programs, which allow existing business owners to incorporate the FASTSIGNS brand into their store, either partially or entirely. To date, its recognisable brand has been added to print shops, photography studios, camera stores and even embroidery shops.
