Fastsigns CFO wins prestigious award

Fastsigns’ CFO has been named Midsize Private Company CFO of the Year by D CEO Magazine.

Ronald K. Herbert was recognised in the prestigious Financial Executives Awards, which include a number of different categories to celebrate the successes of Dallas-Fort Worth’s best finance executives. The event was held in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth, Dallas CPA Society and Financial Executives International.

After nominations for the top CFO Midsize Private Company CFO were submitted, a panel of independent judges decided on the ultimate winner. Although the event organisers couldn’t go ahead with the usual plans, all the award recipients were celebrated in a virtual ceremony. They were also featured in the May edition of D CEO Magazine.

Ronald said,

"Considering the incredible financial talent in Dallas, I was shocked to be named the Midsize Private Company CFO of the Year. This is something for which I have strived my entire career and I am honored to join the amazing group of finalists and past winners."

The signage franchise CFO believes in creating a strong connection with colleagues and has gone to great lengths to maintain a sense of fun whilst working remotely. Every day, he sends emails to the rest of the team with funny stories or inspirational quotes.

This isn’t the first time Ronald’s efforts have been celebrated. In 2019, he was recognised as a Dallas Business Journal CFO of the Year honoree. He’s also been a member of the Dallas Chapter of Financial Executives International for the past 15 years.
