Energie Fitness sweats for charity

Energie Fitness puts its members to the test for a great local cause.
Energie Fitness Ireland’s Carlow Town location challenged its members to show what they’re capable of to raise money for a local day care centre.
There were two challenges running during the incredible day of fundraising to try and raise as much money as possible for local Holy Angels Day Care. The brilliant day care centre is the leading pre-school for special needs children in the Carlow area and has been helping children with additional educational needs reach their potential since 1978. It also provides special services such as Hydrotherapy and respite care for children with special needs on an emergency or weekend basis.
Energie’s toughest members stepped up to the two challenges to see who would claim the top spot. The bench press competition saw members testing their chest strength, while the hang tough challenge challenged them to use all of the grip strength they could muster. There was also a raffle, which gave members a chance to win some incredible prizes including a signed Leinster top from Sean O’Brien.
The staff at the gym franchise issued a statement thanking its members for their incredible efforts.
"We would like to say a huge thanks for the great turnout and support from all our members who got involved. A great amount was raised for the very worthy Holy Angels Day Care.”
Energie Fitness offers its members the chance to work out in well-equipped gyms for an affordable monthly price. Whether you’re a gym fanatic or a complete beginner, the franchise’s friendly staff will help you find the perfect activity for you.
