eDivert welcomes new franchisee to the network

The customer services and marketing company recently expanded, bringing new franchisee Tori onto the team in a move that was equally exciting for both parties.
eDivert is continuing to grow and expand its network, with Tori joining the business just under two months ago. Tori’s journey to connecting with the business franchise is unique, but she’s thrilled to have done so. One morning a few years ago, Tori woke up with numbness down one side of her body. She ended up in a wheelchair, and in 2020, she was made redundant while awaiting spinal surgery. When she found eDivert, she was incredibly relieved, having struggled to find a new role that suited her, and having faced discrimination while job hunting.
In Tori’s words, “I still needed – and wanted – to work. But I couldn’t even get an interview when I last went job hunting. There was always an excuse once people found out I was in a wheelchair. I’m capable and ambitious so I decided to take control of my life and look for a franchise to buy into.”
Tori felt eDivert was a good fit because, beyond her useful and relevant previous experience managing offices, “eDivert ticked the boxes of working from home, without much need to travel to sites or clients’ premises. It was clearly a caring team too, with lots of engagement from Kim prior to me signing anything. She wanted to make sure I was a fit for the business and vice versa, plus ensuring that I knew what I was committing to and was completely happy with that.”
For those considering becoming a franchisee, whether with eDivert or with any franchise business, Tori had some words of wisdom. She said, “It’s always scary thinking of going it alone. But eDivert really held my hand. [...] I was offered all sorts of support and mentoring should I want it, all designed to help me ensure my business was a success.” Find out more about investing with eDivert via the company’s profile page, linked above.
