eDivert franchisees find success during lockdown

eDivert has explained how three of its newest franchisees have been able to build profitable businesses, despite the challenges of Covid-19.
In early 2019, Beki Orme set up her eDivert unit in Kent and secured her first customer within three months. When coronavirus emerged and she began homeschooling her two young children, Beki was able to scale back her business but continue earning a stable income, thanks to eDivert’s flexible model.
Beki said,
“I have more of a work-life balance [at eDivert], which is ideal with having two young children, as I am here if needed and can work around them.”
In Ipswich, Sharna Pratchett invested in the eDivert model in February 2020, just before Covid-19 ramped up in the UK. She was also occupied with homeschooling duties, but took the chance to boost her personal skills. Sharna was also able to outsource work to others in order to achieve maximum flexibility. She explained,
“I have so much more control over what I do, who I work with and the hours I work. Being part of a team like this means when I need time off for the kids or want to have a holiday, I can outsource my work to the other franchisees and am still earning, without letting my clients down.”
Stewart Dunne launched eDivert Chichester after working in senior sales roles for most of his career. When the pandemic hit, he was made redundant and, wanting to find a new vocation with fewer travel requirements, he decided to become a franchisee:
“I didn’t want my business acumen to go to waste but I wanted a better quality of life after being on the road for years.”
After taking advantage of the business franchise’s Accelerator package, with its ‘press-and-go’ marketing campaign and networking membership, Stewart was able to maintain a great income. The system helps franchisees achieve a monthly revenue of over £2,500 within six months, and Stewart surpassed this target.
