Dunkin’ Donuts goes on the run

Dunkin’ Donuts has collaborated with a trainer brand to produce a donut-themed shoe for the Boston Marathon.
Donuts and marathons aren’t two things that tend to go together most of the time, as the naughty treat food and endurance sport aren’t exactly the most compatible pair. However, if you’re a fan of running and donut franchise Dunkin’ Donuts, you’ll love trainer brand Saucony’s new Dunkin’ themed footwear.
Following on from the success of last year’s collaboration, Dunkin’ has teamed up with the footwear brand once again to launch another donut-themed trained ahead of the 2019 Boston Marathon. Saucony have released pictures of the sweet shoes, which are a modified version of the popular Kinvara 10 sneaker. Many long-distance runners, like those who will be bravely tackling the tough Boston Marathon, choose the style of shoe for its light weight, antimicrobial lining and Formfit footbed, which supports your feet no matter where you’re running.
The limited-edition pair features the franchise’s logo in its signature colours of orange and pink on a classic white knit upper. There are added cute details such as a pink donut just below the laces and an image of Dunkin’s famous coffee cups on the tongue of the shoe.
If you want to get your hands on the sweet-looking shoes, they’ll be on sale in early April from the Saucony website, as well as at select other Marathon Sports locations across New England. The sports footwear brand is also holding sweepstakes to give a few lucky fans the chance to win a free pair of the limited-edition Dunkin’ collaboration trainers.
Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the world’s best loved donut franchises, with more than 11,000 locations spanning an impressive 33 countries. It serves an estimated 5 million customers every single day and is continuing to bring sweet treats to people all across the globe.
