Dunkin’ Donuts has announced that it’s releasing its very own brand of beer in collaboration with a nationwide brewery.
Dunkin’ Donuts is set to release its very own brand of beer that will feature a hefty dose of its signature espresso blend coffee.
In collaboration with Harpoon Brewery based in Massachusetts, the donut franchise will launch its brand new beer, Dunkin’ Coffee Porter, across all 25 US states where the brewery distributes its beer. It will be a blend of a ‘roasty beer’ pioneered by Harpoon Brewery, using Dunkin’s signature espresso coffee to give it a unique taste. Beer connoisseurs will be able to enjoy a pint alongside one of the franchise’s mouth-watering donuts.
The brew is said to be a dark, heavy beer that resembles an Americano topped with cream when poured. The 6% ABV beverage will be available both on tap and to take home in six packs, giving Dunkin’ Donut lovers the chance to enjoy it wherever they like.
The donut franchise has previously ventured into collaborations with other breweries, trialling its Dunkin’ Punkin Brown Ale produced by Catawba Brewing in four North Carolina locations. However, this fusion beer is a first for Dunkin’ and its hoped that customers will enjoy the addition of a caffeine pick-me-up in a tasty, smooth ale.
With more than 12,000 restaurants across 36 countries, Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the world’s best loved and largest donut franchises. Its delicious menu includes plenty of seasonal treats for donut fans to indulge in throughout the year, as well as a wide range of drinks. Coffee lovers can choose from a warming pumpkin spice latte or a maple pecan coffee to celebrate the return of cooler weather or choose an apple crisp or pumpkin donut to satisfy their sweet tooth.
