Driver Hire’s York branch has been given an internal achievement award after reaching an impressive sales milestone.
Carrie Ann Goddard, who owns the York division of the Driver Hire network, has been congratulated on her hard work in boosting the unit’s sales. In 2019, its sales total exceeded £750,000, a significant accomplishment for an individual franchise unit. To mark the occasion, Driver Hire has awarded Goddard and her team the Gold Achievement Award.
The successful franchisee believes businesses are increasingly turning to specialist logistics companies to fulfil their transportation needs.
“Road transport and logistics is a highly-regulated industry. As a result, more and more businesses are recognising the value of working with a 100 percent reliable supplier for all their recruitment requirements.”
What’s more, Driver Hire can offer its customers more than its competitors can.
"When it comes to customer service, because we’re a franchise, we offer them the benefits of working with a local, owner-managed business, backed by the resources of a major national company. And, of course, we can help drivers complete their essential driver CPC training.”
Driver Hire has praised the efforts of Goddard and her franchise team. Chris Chidley, the business’ Chief Executive said:
“This is a performance to be proud of, achieved in what are uncertain times. [Goddard’s] team at York are to be congratulated on their success. It’s a result of their hard work, endeavour and the first rate, round-the-clock service they and their drivers deliver.”
