Domino’s Pizza Gives Away 100 Gift Cards For Their Birthday

To celebrate its birthday, Domino’s Pizza launches “The Official Food of Everything” gift card range. Loyal super fans will be able to gift their favourite pizzas to loved ones on special occasions such as, ‘another year lying about your age’, ‘the morning after the night before’, and ‘no more flowers from the petrol station’. This limited-edition-collection is made up of 20 cheeky illustrations and is the star of Domino’s Pizza latest ad campaign that is making its way across the country. The new campaign’s strapline “the official food of everything” appears in its first two campaigns, “The Food of Squads” and “Nights in with the Fam”. The 100 lucky gift card winners will have a chance at grappling the wondrous “free pizza” cards by claiming their gift on officialfoodofeverything.ie.
The lucky winners will be able to order £20 worth of freshly handmade Domino’s pizza online courtesy of the Pepperoni Passion Maker and the limited-edition cards pizza lovers can participate in the Official Food of Everything website. Recent figures show people in Ireland and the UK are spending more money on greetings to celebrate whatever is worth celebrating the old-fashioned way. Last year alone, figures show a total of £2 billion was spent in displays of festive honouring and 68% of Irish prefer to actually receive cards over text messages for their birthdays, 72% prefer a card over a Facebook post and 54% favour a card over a phone call. Research also suggests that 21% of married couples prefer staying in with a Domino’s pizza to celebrate an anniversary rather than going out and to boot, 27% of new homeowners prefer to order a pizza as their first home meal.
