Domino's Opens First Outlet In Austria

Take away Pizza colossus, Domino’s Pizza, has announced that they opened their first outlet in Vienna, Austria. The new outlet is located in the Floridsdorf district of the capital. The first store in the country has been decided has an ‘open-concept’ pizza shop with an open kitchen so pizza lovers can see their pizzas being made right before them. The store also highlights Domino’s investment into future technology with e-kiosks in store to help customers order quickly.

Domino’s international president, Ritch Allison said: "We are proud of Domino's new stores all over the world, and the beautiful pizza theater in Vienna is no exception,". He added "We are steadily growing and attracting new customers around the globe to our dynamic brand, and we are pleased to bring the fun and art of pizza making to the people of Vienna."

The move into Austria has been orchestrated with their local franchisee, Daufood Austria GmbH which is a subsidiary of the Cobega Group. Domino’s say Daufood’s successful history show that they are well positioned to develop the global pizza brand into Austria.
