Thinking of investing in a Daniel Moquet franchise? Let’s find out what the average day looks like for franchisees.
Daniel Moquet is a landscaping franchise that designs and installs driveways, paths and patios – and has been doing so since 1977! If you’re considering investing in the franchise but aren’t sure what you can expect to get up to on a daily basis, you can find out all you need to know in this article.
Your typical franchise routine is split into two parts. In the morning you will spend most of your time managing the site and in the afternoon you will focus on sales appointments. Let’s break this down even further.
In the morning, the branch manager kicks off the day by quickly briefing those at the yard to explain what work what they have to do and which site they are working at. For the rest of the morning, you will be on site, meeting with your hardworking team and making sure everything is laid out correctly.
On Thursdays you will get on with all of your paperwork. This includes planning for the next week, ordering materials and accounting tasks.
In the afternoon you will complete sales meetings with your future customers. This can either be at the yard or the client’s property. As the day draws to a close you will debrief your team and start loading the trucks for the following day.
