Creams Café treats key workers

Creams Café is asking communities to nominate hard-working key workers for a complimentary parcel of treats.

It’s a difficult time for many of us, but key workers across the UK are particularly feeling the strain. So, to thank the country’s community heroes for all they’re doing, Creams Café has launched its new ‘Creams Heroes’ campaign.

People across the UK will be able to nominate supermarket staff, delivery drivers, NHS staff and other vital workers on its social media pages, including Instagram and Facebook. A number of them will receive a Creams Indulgence Bundle, packed with treats like freshly baked waffles, gelato and fruity and creamy toppings. The ice cream franchise has teamed up with Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat to help its treats reach those that deserve them.

Speaking about the new initiative, Adam Mani, CEO of Creams Café, said;

“We want to bring Creams’ famous sweet treats to those who deserve them most at this incredibly difficult time. It’s a chance for us to create a little moment of excitement and indulgence for all the people out there who are making a real difference to their communities. This is about celebrating their fantastic efforts and sharing their stories with the wider world.”

In addition, Creams Café has also launched its new ‘Creative Thursdays’. The series will see the franchise share inspiration online of how parents can keep their kids entertained and creative while they’re at home. If nothing but a sweet treat will keep them quiet, Creams is still open for takeaway and delivery across the country. You can still indulge in a waffle topped with speciality gelato, whipped cream and fruit, or go for a towering sundae after a busy day home schooling.
