Centenary Lounge has brought its 1930s-inspired cafe concept to Point Franchise, in search of new investors.

With the aim of transporting guests “back to the golden age of travel and glamour”, the cafe franchise has created outlets designed to evoke the Art Deco period. The elegant locations are inspired by 1930s railway carriages, with lavish fixtures and furniture. Open all day, the units offer everything from breakfast and lunch to afternoon tea and pre-dinner cocktails.

Thousands of people have already sampled the cafe’s delicious menus - and the franchise has even garnered attention from the TV and film industry. In fact, one of the locations featured in the BBC drama The Game and the BBC documentary Great British Railway Journeys.

The exciting concept behind the franchise was born when the business was founded in 2009. The Express Lounge in Birmingham’s Moor St Station was the first to open, followed by the kiosk in 2012 and the First Class Lounge in 2019. For the past seven years, the locations have earned TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence.

Now, the franchise is looking for investors to launch additional locations in the UK. Franchisees could achieve a return on their investment within two years, thanks to the business’s multiple revenue streams, allowing customers to make orders for delivery and on-site collection. Plus, the franchise offers gift experiences, vouchers, hampers and subscriptions to help franchisees earn even more.

If you join Centenary Lounge, you’ll have the option to manage a single unit or expand nationally or internationally with multiple locations. To start, you’ll need to make a total investment of £150,000, including a £15,000 franchise fee.

In return, the franchise team will provide a four-week training programme and help you as you find and renovate a site, recruit and onboard staff and set up the business.
