Café Rouge is hosting a weekend of celebrations to mark its 30th anniversary celebrations.
This bank holiday weekend, Café Rouge is throwing it back to the year it all began with its ‘Dine Like it’s 1989’ event. The fun event is running this weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th and celebrates some of the classics that have tempted diners through the restaurant franchise’s doors over the years.
Diners will be able to enjoy a range of French classics that were on the menu when the very first Café Rouge opened its doors back in 1989. These include Black Angus Steak Frites, a classic that every meat-lover will find hard to resist, rich Croque Monsieur, and a soft baguette filled with chicken, crunchy lettuce and tangy Dijon mayonnaise.
As well as the delicious limited menu, prices will be rolled back so that everyone can join in with the special celebrations. If you’re just in the mood for a snack, Café Rouge has a range of pastries from just 95p that are the perfect accompaniment to a lazy bank holiday catch up.
Those celebrating their birthday during the weekend will also be treated to a bottle of fizz for absolutely nothing, so if you’ve got no plans and are looking for somewhere to go, Café Rouge is a tempting option. With more than 70 locations across the UK, lots of people will be able to join in with the restaurant’s celebrations.
If you’ve already made plans this weekend, Café Rouge also offers a tasty afternoon tea that can be enjoyed any time for any occasion. The French bistro is looking for new franchisees to open new sites across the UK, with both concession restaurants and large premises in Café Rouge’s expansion plan.
