Business Doctor has saved the day for Nationwide Curtain Makers, a Castleford based curtain makers family-run firm that has been producing high quality soft furnishing for over 20 years. In less than two years, the company went from six employees to thirty. Business Doctor, Jeff Long stepped and shifted the company’s focus from retailing to manufacturing whilst keeping intact its dedication to quality. This new business model has resulted in a new 5,500 sq ft manufacturing facility for Nationwide Curtain Makers where high-quality curtains and soft furnishings are produced for Property Developers, hotels, care homes and 70% go to commercial customers such as Marks & Spencer, the DeVere Hotels chain and even a nuclear power station.
Nationwide Curtain Makers’ managing director beholds the expertise Business Doctor Jeff brought to their company as pivotal in its rapid growth, helping identify new business opportunities and develop the management skills to manage their growth. “None of this would have been possible without the support from Business Doctors.
