Bright & Beautiful raises money for charities

Bright & Beautiful ran fun events to help raise money for great causes.
This year, the cleaning franchise has chosen to support Dementia UK and local Derbyshire charity Me & Dee, which organises holidays for people with life-threatening, life-shortening or terminal conditions. Bright & Beautiful will be running events throughout the year to raise as much money as possible for the worthy charities.
Its first fundraiser of 2020 took the form of a tea party on the 9th March. On the day, more than 30 clients, local businesses, family members and friends visited the Derby office to enjoy a hot drink and slice of cake.
Bright & Beautiful also organised a raffle, with the chance to win a month’s worth of free ironing and a hamper of eco-friendly cleaning products. Indulgent treats like prosecco and chocolates were also given away. The event proved a great success, as the cleaning business managed to collect more than £200 for the charities.
Franchise owner Toni Hibbert was pleased to be able to give back to the local community. Since starting her business in 2017, she’s volunteered for Operation Christmas Child, taken part in the MoonWalk for Breast Cancer and even become a ‘silver sponsor’ of Me & Dee. She said:
“Supporting charities is high on my agenda both personally and professionally and it is more important than ever that we give back to the community. Dementia is a condition that is close to my heart as my nan (Lily) suffered from Alzheimer’s for many years and Me & Dee is local to us a business and any donations can make a real difference to so many lives.”
Thanks to her hard work, Hibbert has been able to double her workforce and maintain a team of 17 housekeepers. In the last year alone, she’s doubled the franchise’s customer base and boosted its revenue by 30 percent. The number of monthly cleans has also risen to 180. As a result, Bright & Beautiful has been able to invest in industry-leading tools and launch a new off-site laundry service, both of which will help the business grow further.
