Bright & Beautiful gives cancer survivor new future

Bright & Beautiful has welcomed a brave cancer survivor who was looking for a new career following his battle with the disease.
Anyone who has battled a horrible illness like cancer knows that you’re given a new outlook on life if you’re lucky enough to fight it off. That’s exactly what pushed Kalpesh Bhayani to start his very own Bright & Beautiful location, after spending 15 years as an IT business analyst.
In 2013, Kalpesh was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, which attacked his body relentlessly. He was forced to use a wheelchair after multiple organ failure from the disease made him incredibly weak. But after beating the disease in 2014, Kalpesh felt as though he had been given a second chance and traded two decades in IT to become a business owner.
Speaking about his experience battling cancer, Kalpesh said:
“Living with cancer was a horrendous time for my family and I, but pushing through that tough period really gave me a new lease of life and a determination to make a successful business.”
He started looking into business opportunities that would allow him to apply his experience as a business analyst to a new challenge. After heading down to an open day and meeting the team, Kalpesh was sold on Bright & Beautiful’s concept.
He explained why he felt the cleaning franchise was the right opportunity for him.
“I’d always wanted to own my own business so finding Bright & Beautiful felt like the perfect opportunity to fulfil that lifelong ambition. Having had experience of hiring a professional housekeeping service in the past, I understand the difference a clean home can make, particularly for busy families. I’m so excited to provide that ‘happy home’ feeling to clients across Northamptonshire and to deliver a first-class service that’s at the heart of the community.”
Now, Kalpesh will operate in the Northampton area with the help of three experienced local housekeepers, who will provide excellent cleaning services to the local community. His family are also getting in on the action, with Kalpesh’s two teenage daughters supporting him with social media marketing.
